Corklands is an innovative brand of events and immersive experiences focused on the cork oak territories in Portugal - know as "montado" -, a unique landscape characterized by cork oak and holm oak forests, where cork is extracted and where an ecosystem is maintained in a sustainable way.

 

Our proposal is to connect people to the nature, culture and traditions of a unique territory, offering events and experiences focused on ecological tourism, which promotes conservation, well-being and maintenance of the ecosystem.

 

Events and experiences include hiking, cycling activities, hot air ballooning activities and motorized tours and expeditions for natural discovery and observation of local fauna and flora.

 

The activities we promote celebrate culture, nature and heritage, providing participants with the opportunity to learn about different local realities. Committed to sustainability, Corklands seeks to contribute to the conservation of cork oak forests and the preservation of traditional cork extraction practices, designing events and experiences with a minimum ecological footprint and encouraging environmental education and conscious tourism.
